Services

Enjaz Al Qimma Oil Services provides engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance (EPCM) for oil and gas facilities, upstream, midstream and downstream. Its clients are government bodies and oil companies.

The work is organised in four divisions: Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Logistics. The company runs its own mechanical fabrication workshops and its own fleet of heavy equipment, and its crews work at remote desert sites.

Oilfield services
Stations, pipelines, tanks and tie-ins on oil and gas sites, from engineering to commissioning.
Maintenance and operations
Shutdowns and turnarounds, static equipment maintenance, asset integrity and preventive maintenance.
Technical services and logistics support
Testing, inspection, electrical and instrumentation work, with crews and mobile workshops sent to remote sites.
Supply of equipment and oilfield materials
Equipment and materials for oilfield work, sourced through the Procurement division.

Engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance

The service catalogue covers upstream, midstream and downstream work: from engineering studies and surface-facility design to transmission pipelines, storage tanks and refinery maintenance. Seventeen service areas, in four groups.

Engineering

Engineering and mechanical design

Design and consulting work with current engineering software, to ASME and API standards.

  • FEED and detailed engineering: station layouts and specifications for fixed and mechanical equipment
  • Piping stress analysis: loads, pressure and thermal expansion across piping networks, to protect structural integrity
  • Shop drawings: detailed drawings for the fabrication workshops and the site teams
Electrical, automation and instrumentation

Electrical works and plant automation and control systems.

  • Installation of flow, pressure, temperature and level instruments, each calibrated in our own workshops
  • Laying and termination of high and medium voltage power cables and of control and signal lines, in control panels and junction boxes
Loop checking and pre-commissioning

The step between finished installation and live operation.

  • Loop checking: testing digital and analogue signals between field instruments and the control room
  • Pre-commissioning: checking system sequences, testing control valves and verifying automatic alarms before hydrocarbons are introduced

Construction

Infrastructure and project execution

Mechanical and infrastructure work for oil and gas facilities.

  • Stations and depots: oil pumping stations, gas compression facilities and produced-water treatment plants
  • Steel structures: steel platforms, pipe racks and supports for heavy equipment
  • Tie-ins: connecting new wells to existing facilities, planned around ongoing production
Onshore pipeline construction

Long-distance lines for oil, gas and water across open and desert terrain.

  • Right of way: trenching, grading and clearing obstacles along the route
  • In-field pipe bending with hydraulic bending machines, so the line follows the ground
  • Welding by certified welders, with each joint tested straight away, before backfilling
Internal pipeline inspection and pigging

Cleaning and checking a pipeline after construction or maintenance, before it goes into service.

  • Construction pigging: removing construction debris from inside the line
  • Caliper pigging: measuring the internal diameter and finding dents or deformation in the pipe wall
  • Commissioning: nitrogen purging and drying, so the line is free of moisture
Cathodic protection and pipeline coating

Protection of buried and submerged pipelines against corrosion.

  • Field joint coating: epoxy coating of welded joints on site, matched to the factory coating of the pipe
  • Cathodic protection: design and installation of impressed-current systems and sacrificial anodes
Storage tank fabrication to API 650 and API 620

Large welded steel tanks above ground, for crude oil, light and heavy petroleum products and low-pressure gases.

  • Design and fabrication to API 650 and API 620
  • Fixed roofs, and floating roofs with double seals that reduce evaporation and emissions
Heat treatment, surface protection and insulation

Treatment and protection of welded and exposed steel.

  • Post weld heat treatment (PWHT): controlled heating cycles that relieve stress in welded joints
  • Sandblasting and industrial coating systems for desert and marine conditions
  • Thermal and acoustic insulation: rock wool and cladding on hot and cold piping, to save energy and protect staff from burns

Integrity, testing and turnarounds

Tank inspection, repair and rehabilitation to API 653

Keeping existing storage tanks sound and preventing leaks.

  • Inspection to API 653: non-destructive testing of walls and bottoms to measure plate thickness and find corrosion
  • Bottom and annular plate replacement, with the tank raised by synchronised hydraulic lifting
Plant shutdown and turnaround

Planned shutdowns and major overhauls of refineries and processing plants.

  • Static equipment maintenance: opening, inspecting, cleaning and closing distillation columns, pressure vessels and heat exchangers, then testing them
  • Mechanical upgrades and revamping: replacing worn piping components, overhauling main valves and returning production units to design capacity
Turnaround planning and scheduling

Planning that keeps a turnaround on schedule and within budget.

  • Hour-by-hour schedules built with the critical path method (CPM), matching materials to crews
  • Logistics and risk management: heavy equipment and cranes mobilised in advance, with contingency plans for technical risks
Hydrostatic and pneumatic testing

Documented tests of systems, vessels and pipelines before they go live.

  • Hydrostatic testing with treated water, at pressures above operating limits, to prove welds and tightness
  • Pneumatic testing with dry air or nitrogen, for systems that must stay dry
  • Certified test packs: pressure readings and inspection charts recorded for every system and handed to the client
Asset integrity

Checks that extend the life of equipment and prevent mechanical failure.

  • Pressure relief valve (PRV) testing and calibration on test rigs, with certified records
  • Inspection of cranes, gantry hoists and lifting tackle such as slings and shackles, with safety certificates
OCTG inspection and heat-exchanger retubing

Two specialised packages that extend the asset integrity work.

  • OCTG inspection and maintenance: non-destructive testing of drilling, production and casing pipes before they go downhole
  • Heat-exchanger retubing: replacing corroded tube bundles, followed by re-facing and hydrostatic testing

Field support and specialised services

Industrial support

Site services that keep a project working.

  • Scaffolding designed, erected, inspected and dismantled following OSHA practice
  • Hot tapping: connecting to live pipelines under pressure without stopping the flow
Logistics and specialised services

Mobilisation, asset care and specialist skills for field operations.

  • Mobilisation of engineers, certified welders and automation specialists to remote sites, with heavy machinery and mobile workshops
  • Asset management: periodic inspections, structural assessments and preventive maintenance programmes
  • Early production facilities (EPF), so clients can produce from new wells and assess reserves before permanent facilities are complete
  • Maintenance, calibration and rehabilitation of gas and steam turbines in power generation and compression plants
  • QA/QC at every stage from FEED to final performance testing, to ASME and API codes, with every inspection documented

Why clients work with us

  • Fast mobilisation

Heavy machinery and skilled crews reach remote desert sites quickly, which keeps unplanned downtime short.

  • Own fabrication workshops

Mechanical fabrication is done in our own workshops, so quality and timing stay under our control and nothing waits for outside suppliers.

  • Practical engineering alternatives

Where a full shutdown can be avoided, we propose alternatives such as hot tapping, so the station keeps producing.

  • Keeping to the contract

We keep to the agreed terms, report progress at regular intervals and manage risks as the work goes on.
