Services

Expertise Consultancy Libya (EC) was founded in August 2016. It helps energy companies and international organisations work in Libya: it protects their people and sites, plans and supports their movements, houses them and handles the local formalities around their operation.

EC combines guarding and mobile security with local liaison, logistics and life support, so one provider can cover the whole operation. EC is a certified member of the International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA) and publishes its policies on conduct and human rights.

Security and guarding: Static guarding, mobile security teams and executive protection for sites, offices and people.
Safety and risk management: Risk assessments, security surveys, crisis and evacuation planning, and incident reporting.
Operational and logistics support: Liaison, transport, visas and customs, accommodation, catering and life support.
Consulting and training: Market-entry and operational advice, and training for EC staff and client staff.

ICoCA certified membership
EC is a certified member of the International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA), announced in January 2026.
Staff vetting
Every candidate completes the company's application form, a face-to-face interview, document screening and background screening.
Labour law and insurance
EC follows Libyan labour, social security and tax law, and every role carries insurance cover suited to it.
